Hello, it’s me, Armin Reiter, living in Austria, blogging globally. I spent the last 10 years as software developer, system architect, team lead of a product & innovation team and consultant. I developed frameworks and products for Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Azure. I introduced Scrum in one of my previous companies as Scrum Master and switched afterwards to the product owner role. I worked and led different international teams in product and project development. After 10 fascinating years, I decided to be self-employed as Software Architect & Consultant at my company Reiter ITS.
Since the beginning of my IT career, I’m focusing on Microsoft technologies. I spent many years with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365. I introduced the Team Foundation Server in my previous company and migrated to Visual Studio Online about 1,5 years before the release of the first final version. I love to take care about the whole software development process, including also the work with people and being a motivator for the team. I also love to build nice and clean solutions in C#, using PowerShell to do a lot of funny scripting and thinking about awesome architectural designs for solutions. Since cloud is becoming more important I moved my main focus from SharePoint to Microsoft Azure.
Beside my technical role, I love to work with people. I value good communication and leadership as one of the biggest success factors in IT projects and product development. I love to spent a lot of time on personal development and life-long learning is a key factor in my life. That’s why I finalized a course about systemic coaching in 2015 to improve my skills in team mangement. In 2017, I finalized my MSc in Communications and Management. After a few years of non-technical education, I decided that my next 2 years will have a focus on studying business informatics.
